Mr. Aveard, is responsible for all activities in support of new Green Fumehood technology. Mr. Aveard Associate Member of the American Institute of
Architects, (USGBC) Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design , (LEED) Accredited Professional Co-Chair of LEED for Labs Committee, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Mr. Aveard has worked exclusively in the planning and design of laboratories since 1984.
Dennis Brewer - Executive VP, LCS Constructors
Mr. Brewer with over thirty years of construction experience, responsibility for lab design consulting, estimations, and construction management. Dennis possesses over 24 years of laboratory construction experience and over 30 of general construction which covers all aspects of construction from carpenter to general manager.
Paul Fuson PE - Sr. Product Manager for Life Sciences and Critical Environments , Siemens Building Technologies, Inc.
Since joining the company in 1984, Paul has held positions in purchasing, product development, marketing and sales management. Paul’s
earliest work experience was as a design engineer and project manager for a manufacturer of nuclear and gas turbine power generation
systems. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the University of Illinois, and a Masters of
Management degree from Northwestern University.
F. Kurt Last - President, Specialty Operations Solutions, Inc.
Mr. Last has more than 20 years experience in programming, design, commissioning and operating laboratory, cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing and
research animal care facilities. Prior to founding Specialty Operations Solutions (SOS) in 1997, Mr. Last was Senior Director of Operations for a cGMP
biologics manufacturing company, leading teams charged with Facilities (Research & cGMP Manufacturing) Operations; Calibration & Metrology; Research Animal Care and Security, Environmental Health & Safety. SOS provides programming, design, financing, sciences integration & quality assurance, veterinary & research animal care support, complete (FDA) regulatory services, commissioning & start up, and operations.
Dane McKitrick - Senior Project Manager, LCS Constructors
Mr. McKitrick has a career spanning over thirty years in construction management, nearly all of it involved in the design, construction, and maintenance of Advanced Technology facilities. Dane focuses on Design/Build Projects with exacting performance requirements which include a wide variety of projects containment laboratories, and cGMP facilities.
Ron Petersen PhD - Principal, CPP, Inc.
Dr. Petersen has over 30 years experience in exhaust/intake evaluations, air quality assessments, atmospheric dispersion, wind-tunnel modeling and numerical modeling. Dr. Petersen has conducted numerous studies related to exhaust/intake design and pollutant transport in complex environments for many university, pharmaceutical, hospital, industrial, commercial and government clients. He presented/prepared comments on behalf of the Air & Waste Management
Association's dispersion committee at past EPA Modeling Conferences in Washington D.C. regarding revisions to the EPA "Guideline on Air Quality Modeling.” Presenter for Labs21 Design Course. He has authored or coauthored over 250 technical papers and/or presentations.
Jon Zboralski - Director of Air Products - ThermoFisher Scientific
Mr. Zboralski has over 30 years experience in the design and development of laboratory furniture and fume hoods. Involved in the development of the
ASHRAE 110 tracer gas test. Serves on the SEFA Fume Hood Committee. He has published, author and holds numerous patents on airflow related
products.
